Due to the high COVID high transmission rate in Elkhart county (which is again in the RED zone of highest transmission) as well as our facility’s recent increase in exposure, we are in the unfortunate position of having to postpone the July 9^th annual Ice Cream Social until further notice.

We intend to reschedule this incredibly special event in the early fall as it is a much anticipated and enjoyable experience for our residents, families, staff, and children.

We understand that COVID doesn’t necessarily “feel like” it has once again reared its ugly head as symptoms, hospitalizations, and deaths are not as prevalent as experienced in prior strains of COVID. It is still highly contagious, and the long-haul effects are present in a wide range of individuals who have had it irrespective of age, symptomology, or prior health.
