At Hubbard Hill, the belief in the transformative power of generations connecting underpins everything we do. As one of the Midwest’s only senior living campuses designed for daily intergenerational engagement, our nationally recognized programs offer residents – and our youngest visitors – opportunities to learn, play, share, and grow together. Here, children from the Early Learning Center and elders form lasting bonds through storytelling, music, art, gardening, and collaborative learning opportunities. Research has shown that intergenerational activities decrease loneliness and depression in seniors while increasing empathy and social understanding among children, benefits that are apparent every day throughout our campus.

Our innovative programming is built into the very fabric of our community. Seniors mentor and guide children, enriching young lives with wisdom and perspective, while youth bring fresh energy, creativity, and joy. Whether it’s a shared music session, an art class, or a technology tutoring group, both generations discover new talents and build friendships that transcend age. These connections make Hubbard Hill feel less like a facility and more like a true community – one that supports healthy aging, resilience, and a sense of purpose for everyone involved.

Parents and family members are continually drawn to Hubbard Hill, not only because our programs are enriching, but because they help bridge the gap between generations in a modern, nurturing environment. The result is a campus atmosphere marked by vitality, optimism, and mutual respect.
