About Debbie Carriveau, RN, C., QMCP, CDP

Debbie Carriveau is a nationally recognized expert in memory care education and program development, who has worked in the field of geriatrics since 1979. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana and holds multiple national and local certifications in the areas of gerontology, psychiatric and mental health, behavior management, and as a memory care specialist. Ms. Carriveau is a graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University of Indianapolis and the Marion County General Hospital School of Nursing.

Throughout her career, Ms. Carriveau’s efforts have been distinguished by numerous awards and honors such as the Beverly Healthcare’s Award of Excellence for her contributions in Alzheimer’s Care Program Development, the Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Athena Award given to women making outstanding contributions to their local communities, and REAL Services of St. Joseph County’s “Age of Excellence” Award for excellence in the field of education for her work with both family and professional caregivers.
