Dementia Without Loneliness

From Managing Behaviors to Connecting Hearts with International Thought Leader Michael Verde

For decades, dementia care has focused on managing decline. Michael Verde challenges us to see something deeper, that loneliness, not memory loss alone, is the true crisis.

Join Hubbard Hill as we host a nationally recognized voice who is reshaping how caregivers, families, and professionals understand connection, dignity, and meaning in dementia care.

Michael’s work centers around what he calls “36 Minutes of Attention”, a structured, daily practice of relational presence that restores belonging and meaning for people living with dementia.
