Debbie Carriveau
Executive Director of Dementia care
Debbie Carriveau is a nationally recognized expert in memory care education and program development and has worked in the field of geriatrics since 1979. She is a licensed registered nurse in the state of Indiana and holds multiple national and local certifications in gerontology, psychiatric and mental health, behavior management, and as a memory care specialist. Ms. Carriveau is a graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University of Indianapolis and the Marion County General Hospital School of Nursing. Her efforts have been distinguished by numerous awards and honors, such as the Beverly Healthcare’s “Award of Excellence” for her contributions in Alzheimer’s Care Program Development, the Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious “Athena Award” given to women making outstanding contributions to their local communities, and REAL Services of St. Joseph County’s “Age of Excellence Award” for excellence in the field of dementia education with both family and professional caregivers.
Ms. Carriveau collaborated with biophilic design experts to design and create the revolutionary Living Wisdom Center for dementia care in 2019. Under her leadership as the Executive Director of Dementia Services, Hubbard Hill has become a regional epicenter of memory care services.
Iga Aizigov, MSN, RN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health. With nearly two decades of healthcare experience, she currently practices in Northern Indiana, serving the community through both clinical care and leadership roles.
Iga earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University and holds post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Ohio University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is currently preparing to begin teaching nursing students at Saint Mary’s College Fall 2025.
Her clinical career spans a wide spectrum—from pediatric intensive care in New York to psychiatric and surgical care in Indiana. She has held leadership roles including Clinical Director and Interim Administrator at Granger Surgery Center and currently provides psychiatric services at Michiana Neuroscience.
Iga is known for her compassionate approach, integrative patient care philosophy, and dedication to mental health advocacy. She brings a strong voice to discussions about the evolving role of nurse practitioners in today’s healthcare landscape.
