Maxine Angel loved to visit the ponds at Hubbard Hill Retirement Community where she fed the ducks and spent time with God in nature. In Maxine’s honor, Hubbard Hill and the Angel family have transformed her favorite spot into the Angel Garden, a haven for the entire community to enjoy.
The Angel Garden is a gift not only for the residents of Hubbard Hill, but also for the Elkhart County region. It is a fully accessible destination of solace and refuge, of prayer and meditation, but also of joy and celebration for people of all ages.
We, at Hubbard Hill Retirement Community, are raising money for a 5′ tall bronze angel, designed by sculptor Dave Layman, that will be installed in the Angel Garden. The angel is to represent what it would have been like to walk to the tomb of Jesus on Easter morning only to hear the angel share the greatest news ever told: “He is risen!”
Your donation will help proclaim the Good News and enable both the residents of Hubbard Hill and the entire community to experience the joy and truth of Easter morning: that Jesus, the hope for the world, has indeed risen. In Him is everlasting life!
Donations to Hubbard Hill Retirement Community are tax deductible. May God bless you for your generosity.
